I have got a Arctic Freezer 13 Cooler which I've had to remove the fan from and prop a spare 120mm i had against it instead since there seems to be issues with Asus boards and being able to properly control the fan on this cooler (had a search around these forums before I did and there seems to know a known issue which has existed for over a year!, there is a workaround, which didn't seem to make any difference for me :() If you have any other questions just ask. Post your temps if you like and what cpu cooler you are using. When running stress tests, cpu temps will always be higher. Max gaming temp is 75c if you want your cpu to last. Download realtemp 3.70 if you haven't did this already.Īdding more voltage will create more heat so keep an eye on your temps. Your cpu temperatures will determine how far you can overclock your cpu. If stable raise the cpu core ratio to 47 and test again. If you are stable just raise the cpu core ratio to 46 and test again. Run a stress test to be sure it is stable. Try setting the ai overclock tuner to manual, sync all cores and set the cpu core ratio to 45 and the cpu core voltage to 1.25v. If you are using the intel stock cooler you should upgrade to a better cpu cooler and disregard what I'm about to tell you. You only need to change the cpu core ratio and the cpu core voltage. When overclocking it's best to set it up manually. ![]() People like the fan xpert because fan speed can be adjusted in windows. Either one is ok to use, it's your preference. I've never used the fan expert but you should be able to over ride the bios fan settings using it.
